Jane
Celebrating Jane – CEO, Life4Kids Kenya

Meet one of our wonderful staff members at Life4Kids in Kenya, Jane.

Jane Wasike is the Chief Executive Officer of Life4Kids Kenya, a dedicated and compassionate young woman whose life is devoted to protecting and nurturing vulnerable children in Africa. She holds a degree in Social Work and has served faithfully at Life4Kids since 2011.

Jane’s journey began as a volunteer, driven by a deep desire to serve. Through years of commitment, sacrifice, and hands-on service, she rose to become the Manager and later the CEO of Life4Kids Kenya. Her leadership is grounded not only in professional training, but in lived compassion and tireless advocacy for children in need. She is a mother to one daughter and to many boys whose lives have been transformed through safety, care, and love at Life4Kids. Her responsibilities extend far beyond management. Jane is directly involved in child rescues, protection, and ensuring that every boy is happy, healthy, educated, and emotionally supported. Jane works around the clock throughout the year, responding to emergencies, guiding staff, and ensuring that the home remains a place of dignity, joy, and belonging. Her passion and dedication are evident in every aspect of the children’s lives. In her own words, spoken with humility and deep conviction: “I love the boys as my own. I am privileged and honored to be part of their life stories.”

Harriet
Celebrating Harriet – Heart of the Home

Meet one of our wonderful staff members at Life4Kids in Kenya, Harriet.

This month, we honour Harriet, one of the most treasured members of our Life4Kids family. Harriet joined us seven years ago, bringing with her a deep passion for social work, a strong sense of purpose, and a heart overflowing with motherly love. With a degree in Social Work and years of dedicated service, she embodies compassion in its purest form. To the boys, Harriet is more than a caregiver; she is a constant source of comfort, wisdom, and strength. She listens with patience, guides with tenderness, and nurtures each child as though they were her own. Her presence brings warmth to our home. These words, spoken often with a sincere smile, capture who she truly is: “I love the boys, and I delight in taking care of them.”

Celebrating Celestine – A Heart of Love and Service

Meet one of our wonderful staff members at Life4Kids in Kenya, Celestine.

This month, we are honoured to shine a light on Celestine, one of the most cherished members of our Life4Kids family. Celestine joined Life4Kids in 2021 and has faithfully served for the past five years as both a cook and a loving mother figure to the boys. Her kitchen is always filled with laughter, the aroma of good food, and the sweet sound of her singing as she cooks. For Celestine, preparing meals is more than a duty, it is an expression of love and care. We celebrate her for her unwavering service, her nurturing heart, and the joy she brings.
