This month, we are honoured to celebrate Ann, a devoted social worker and caregiver who has faithfully served at Life4Kids since 2018. Ann is more than a staff member; she is a mother figure, a mentor, and a steady source of comfort to the boys in our home. Through her patience, kindness, and commitment, she has helped shape not only routines, but lives. Her presence brings calm, her words bring encouragement, and her care reflects the very heart of what Life4Kids stands for.
We are deeply grateful for her years of faithful service and the love she pours out selflessly each day.

This month, it is our great honor to celebrate Gladwel, a devoted social worker and a cornerstone of Life4Kids for more than ten years. She is a graduate and a trained social worker whose life reflects dedication, integrity, and deep compassion. For over a decade, she has walked faithfully alongside vulnerable children, standing in the gap where protection, advocacy, and love are needed most.
We are deeply grateful for her ten years of service ten years of showing up, ten years of believing in restoration, and ten years of choosing love every single day.

Jane Wasike is the Chief Executive Officer of Life4Kids Kenya, a dedicated and compassionate young woman whose life is devoted to protecting and nurturing vulnerable children in Africa. She holds a degree in Social Work and has served faithfully at Life4Kids since 2011.
Jane’s journey began as a volunteer, driven by a deep desire to serve. Through years of commitment, sacrifice, and hands-on service, she rose to become the Manager and later the CEO of Life4Kids Kenya. Her leadership is grounded not only in professional training, but in lived compassion and tireless advocacy for children in need. She is a mother to one daughter and to many boys whose lives have been transformed through safety, care, and love at Life4Kids. Her responsibilities extend far beyond management. Jane is directly involved in child rescues, protection, and ensuring that every boy is happy, healthy, educated, and emotionally supported. Jane works around the clock throughout the year, responding to emergencies, guiding staff, and ensuring that the home remains a place of dignity, joy, and belonging. Her passion and dedication are evident in every aspect of the children’s lives. In her own words, spoken with humility and deep conviction: “I love the boys as my own. I am privileged and honored to be part of their life stories.”

This month, we honour Harriet, one of the most treasured members of our Life4Kids family. Harriet joined us seven years ago, bringing with her a deep passion for social work, a strong sense of purpose, and a heart overflowing with motherly love. With a degree in Social Work and years of dedicated service, she embodies compassion in its purest form. To the boys, Harriet is more than a caregiver; she is a constant source of comfort, wisdom, and strength. She listens with patience, guides with tenderness, and nurtures each child as though they were her own. Her presence brings warmth to our home. These words, spoken often with a sincere smile, capture who she truly is: “I love the boys, and I delight in taking care of them.”

This month, we are honoured to shine a light on Celestine, one of the most cherished members of our Life4Kids family. Celestine joined Life4Kids in 2021 and has faithfully served for the past five years as both a cook and a loving mother figure to the boys. Her kitchen is always filled with laughter, the aroma of good food, and the sweet sound of her singing as she cooks. For Celestine, preparing meals is more than a duty, it is an expression of love and care. We celebrate her for her unwavering service, her nurturing heart, and the joy she brings.

This month we honour Caleb, a valued and much-loved member of the Life4Kids family.
Caleb is 34 years old, a devoted husband, who for the past five years has served faithfully both as a caregiver and a driver. The lives of both the children and his fellow staff members have been touched by his dedication, reliability, and kindness. As a caregiver, Caleb brings patience, understanding and warmth, creating a safe and nurturing environment for the boys. He is also an exceptional driver, ensuring every journey is undertaken with care and safety. Beyond his daily duties, Caleb is gifted in playing musical instruments, a talent he has generously shared with the boys, inspiring them to explore music, build confidence and heal their trauma.
We are deeply grateful for Caleb’s love, commitment, and the many ways he contributes to the mission of Life4Kids. His impact is lasting; we are so blessed to have him on our team.
